The order 66 mission is definitely the hardest part of the game but I still love this game though

You gotta sit at the back of the library where the command post is. Be the marine if you can get the elite rifle Then puppyguard the two bookcases in front of you while aiming down toward the library entrance. The Jedi spawn at the start of the first and second minute. You only need to keep on bookcase alive by the end of the minute. Make sure to reload so you aren’t out of ammo mid kill. Enter the library when you are ready as the objective won’t start and the Jedi won’t spawn until you enter

Not gonna lie wish I was there so I could have helped theory (if he wanted it) knowing you can repair the bookshelves that haven’t been destroyed yet with engineer

chat was giving him such shit recommendations. regular infantry is the only class worth using. low damage/range/slow reload times plague every other class. aim assist literally makes it 10x easier but idk if that’s available on PC. combat rolling is so essential. it gets you out of so many bad predicaments & breaks their aim. aim for the crack in the turret where their head sticks out instead of shooting the actual turret. easiest way to kill the jedi is aim for the head. they’re bad at blocking there if you aim for the upper part of their hit box. if it’s the dual wielders in their blocking form then go more toward the legs. in the library you defend the farthest back bookcase so you don’t have to focus on both directions as much. don’t think it ever took me more than a couple tries to beat this level as a kid. the one fault with these games is that the AI is pretty dumb. even on elite difficulty. it’s still addicting as hell but i always felt myself wanting more of a challenge.

Sorry I missed the stream (streams are never at the right time in my time zone), but watching you play this made me want to get it and I went in to the level prepared to spend many hours on this level but I finished it in three tries!! Also' I don't know if you figured this out because I didnt watch completely to the end of the stream, but as a clone engineer you can switch out your c4 for a ammo & heal pod and that can help you with your dying problems maybe.

If Order 66 was a secret protocol that activated a behavioral modification chip inside the Clones' brains that they didn't know they had implanted in the first place, then how come the 501st knew what they were about to do right as Palpatine was giving the order out? Order 66 was being given concurrently with Anakin cleaning out the Jedi Temple. I always thought it was like a manual activation switch where Palpatine had to call every Clone commander so it could activate in them.

This game reminds me of Star Wars the Old Republic. Super basic graphics compared to now, but man was the story and audio engineering magnificent. Classic Star Wars games just have a way of sucking you straight into the Universe, even if the graphics can be wonky at times. I'd take a magnificent story with basic graphics any day over beautiful graphics combined with a story that doesn't make sense. I hope they bring a game to life similar to 1313. I'd love to see that.

Something that I still don't fully get is how the Clones knew Anakin turned into Vader by the time of Operation Knightfall. My logical guess would that Palpatine programmed that in the chip beforehand, but even that, I'm not sure about.

Hoth is the only level I’ve ever had difficulty with and I still do 16 years later.

I’ve never been more frustrated in my life than I was watching this lol. How to easily beat this one: Run as much as possible Use engineer shotgun Secondary equipment heals you Trigger Jedi, run, kill one at a time Ignore temple guards if possible Use rolling to avoid Jedi Only focus on the objectives Focus on back two bookcases Only kill Jedi and troopers damaging book cases Don’t try and repair the bookcases Do not use grenades in the library Once using Anakin avoid Jedi, find the specific 4 you need to kill. If you have plenty of reinforcements, have fun with Anakin as long as you can at the end.

You can block attacks with your lightsaber, and switch your force attack to force choke as well as saber throw

I played this game religiously for years and I still hold it at the top due to one lone memory. Hunt mode, Endor, Ewoks vs Stormtroopers, “Ewok sniping”, Rob Zombie full blast, halucignins.

Played that mission 3 or 4 months ago. This mission was really hard for me too. One of the three most difficult levels besides Tantive 4 and Hoth.
